ARK: Survival Evolved - Explorer's Edition:

The Explorer's Edition combines the basic game with the season pass, which contains 3 massive expansion packs and thus provides for even more dinosaur action. With the ARK: Survival Evolved - Explorer's Edition you get the basic game, Scorched Earth (available), and two more expansion packs as they become available. All in all, this results in over 900 hours of gameplay

Survive above all:

Hunger, thirst, basic safety and protecting yourself from the weather are all part of the game. Run too far and not only will you be exhausted, but you will also quickly get hungry and thirsty. Weather effects are based on real-world climates, and so you'll need to hide out from rain and snow, while making the most of sunny days.

Gather resources, customise everything:

An extensive crafting system invites you to mix and match materials scavenged from the island, while also modifying the colours, textures, shapes and style of everything from the walls of your home, to your character's armour, weapons and more.

Explore the island:

Solve the mystery of The ARK as you explore this massive island, discovering Explorer's Notebooks (filled with clues) throughout. Make your way to the final boss and figure out why you've been dropped into this Jurassic-era experience.

Capture and tame dinosaur:

Discover over 100 different dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures on the island, finding ways to tame them into useful additions for your tribe's dino herd.

Harvest, hunt and build:

Cut down trees and turn them into a basic home, which you can quickly expand into a Jurassic estate. Hunt for meat, scavenge for plants (or start your own garden).

ARK: Survival Evolved  is an action-adventure survival video game developed by Studio Wildcard, in collaboration with Instinct Games, Efecto Studios, and Virtual Basement. It was released in August 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, OS X and Linux, with versions for Android, iOS, and Nintendo Switch in 2018. In the game, players must survive being stranded on an island filled with roaming dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals, natural hazards, and potentially hostile human players. The game is played from either a third-person or first-person perspective and its open world is navigated on foot or by riding a prehistoric animal. Players can use firearms and improvised weapons to defend against hostile humans and creatures, with the ability to build bases as defense. The game has both single-player and multiplayer options. Multiplayer allows the option to form tribes of members in a server. The max number of tribe mates varies from each server. In this mode all tamed dinosaurs and building are shared between the members. Development began in October 2014, where it was first released as an early access title in mid-2015. The development team conducted research into the physical appearance of the animals, but took creative license for gameplay purposes. A companion app, titled Dododex, was released for mobile devices in August 2017. One of the game modes, Survival of the Fittest, was also released as a standalone game the same month. Egypt-based developer Instinct Games was hired to facilitate the game's development. Several expansions to the game have also been released as downloadable content: The Center, Primitive Plus, Scorched Earth, Ragnarok, and Aberration. Two spin-off games developed by Snail Games were released in March 2018: ARK Park, a virtual reality game, and PixARK, a sandbox survival game.
